This card was constructed from supplies leftover when I made my Grandma a pack of cards.

The verses image from the Botanicals stamp set was stamped onto Pure Luxury Soft Sand cardstock using Tuscan Tan ink. I stamped the image of onto a piece of scrap paper first to lighten the image. The flower silhouette was stamped over the verse using Rich Cocoa ink and then I layered the PL Soft Sand cardstock onto a piece of PL Chocolate.

A wrapped a piece of stitched brown ribbon around the PL Chocolate panel and then mounted it to the PL Ivory cardfront with dimensionals.

The Gina K. Design Team is having a blog hop tonight featuring techniques shown on StampTV. I chose to use the “Coloring with colored pencils and OMS” technique with the Aloha stamp set by Theresa Momber.

The images were stamped onto Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of PL Ivory cardstock, layered onto a piece of PL Smokey Slate cardstock and then mounted to the cardfront with dimensionals.

Coloring With Colored Pencils and OMS

This card uses a fun flower image from Nina Brackett’s “Hugs and Prayers” stamp set along with a sentiment from Gina K.’s “Botanicals” stamp set.

The flower image was stamped onto Pure Luxury White cardstock using black ink and colored with copic markers: R20, R22, R27, R29, YG96, G99, and Y08. I trimmed out the flower image and mounted it to a piece of PL White cardstock using glue dots and then layered it onto a piece of PL Smokey Slate cardstock.

The main image was adhered to the PL Turquoise Sea cardbase and after stamping the sentiment onto PL Soft Sand cardstock, I mounted it to the card with dimensionals.
