I used my JustRite stamper to stamp the “100 YEARS” onto Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock before cutting it out and embossing with with my label nestabilities die.

The white flowers on the window sheet is from Stampin’ Up!, and is secured to the Kiwi Kiss carsdtock with Copper Brads. I wrapped some Chocolate Twill around the card front and mounted the label with dimensionals.

Supplies:

Ink: Rich Cocoa Memento (GKD)

Paper: Kiwi Kiss (SU!), PL Ivory (GKD)

Isn’t this the cutest bear image? Michelle at Stamper’s Dream had this image in her store for a short time and I was lucky to get it.

This card was made for class that Momma taught at my sister’s homeschool group. It was for younger kids so I kept it really simple.

The main image was stamped onto white cardstock using black ink and then colored with colored pencils. I used the Koh-i-noor pencils from Gina K. Designs to create the beautiful blending effect.

The white cardstock was layered onto a piece of brown cardstock and then mounted onto the white cardfront with dimensionals. The sentiment from Gina K. Designs was then stamped in black ink.

Supplies:

Stamps: Umbrella Bear, “Whatever Floats Your Boat” set (GKD)

Ink: Memento Black Ink (GKD)

Cardstock: White cardfront, Dark Brown (PTI), White

Accessories: Koh-i-noor pencils (GKD), Dimensionals

Sorry it has taken me so long to get this post up. I’ve been really busy at the Orchard this week with all of the popular variates of apples coming in – Honeycrisp, Haralson, McIntosh, Cortland, etc. – so I haven’t had a whole lot of time to stamp.

I also need to clean up my stamp room because a missionary friend is coming to live with up for a few months and she will need the basement kitchen and dining room – which is my stamp room.

Now that you’re updated on my life….here’s the card from last week using the cuttlebug technique.

Since the JustRite stamper doesn’t have enough space on the block for three large font letters, I had to stampe each of them individually. But then they were not all straight, so I devised a way to cut them out using a lable nestabilities die.

As seen below, I cut out each letter with the large label die, and then trimed off the top and bottom to create the little rectangle letters. Quick, easy and no hassle with liningup the letters with the edge of a cutter.

To create the background, I used a Brilliance White ink pad to cover the negative side of the embossing folder (that’s the side with the dots going in, rather than bumping out.

Then just like in the “inking the negative” technique, I run it through the cuttlebug to apply the ink onto the cardstock.

You then get an embossed image that has the negative (or non-raised) part of the image inked with white ink.

You could stop there, but I wanted to tro something a little different. I decided to squish the paper flat again and get rid of the embossed image, so I arranged the cuttlebug “sandwich” like this: A plate, B plate, 4 peices of cardstock, Embossed image, C plate.

This may be a little difficult to crank through the bug, but the resulting look will be a smooth piece of cardstock with little white-ringed circles dotting it.

The very last

Where do I start with describing this fabulous product and what more can I say about it that the rest of the Stamper’s Dream Design Team hasn’t already said?

First off, I want to remind everyone that Michelle’s Blog Candy (a JustRite C-45 Monogram Stamper ) is still open until Sunday….here’s the link: Blog Candy

If you read the other DT member’s posts then you know that the basic kit comes with the monogram stamper (which includes a reversible pre-inked black pad and the other side is dry so you may ink it with the color of your choice), four border designs, and two sizes of interlocking Times Romans fonts. You also get a handy storage box to store your stuff in….though if you end up getting all of the accessories then they don’t fit in the one box. LOL!

Initially I only had time to make once sample, but last night I was able to whip up a second one to show the versatility of the fonts.

Here’s my first sample – a mini composition notebook.

All supplies (except for the cardstock and notebook) can be found at Stamper’s Dream. They include: C-45 Monogram Kit; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Cuttlebug Folder; Adhesive Pearls; Neutral Art Flowers; May Arts Ribbon; and Nestabilities;

The above project shows how the JustRite stamper system can be used to create monograms, whereas the next project uses just the fonts to create a custom sentiment.

I have details on this card that I’ll post seperately for lack of time and space in this post, so I’ll skip to the good stuff.

JustRite recently released some new products (some of which are already available at Stamper’s Dream) in addition to their “old” products. There really isn’t anything old about them, they just aren’t what’s newest. That said, all of the JustRite products jumped up in price a bit on Sept. 1st – BUT Michelle still has all of the “old” products in her store at the old price until her next shipment arrives, so head over there now to get it before it goes up in price!

One last thing….don’t forget to check Laurie Schmidlin’s blog tomorrow for projects and Tosh Leyendekke’s on Saturday!

Aren’t the Fluffles images cute? When I placed an order from Stamper’s Dream last week, Michelle surprised me with this Fluffles image – she’s just the sweetest!

Also, there’s some big news at Stamper’s Dream….read below to find out what it is!

I stamped Fluffles onto the white cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored it with Copic markers.

The patterned paper was created using the Textile Cuttlebug folder, though I think the Swiss Dots folder would have coordinated better, but I forgot that I had it. I used my Inking the Negative Technique to apply the white ink to the gray cardstock and then I sent it through my cuttlebug with just the B and C plates to squish it flat again. I’ll give more detailed direction on Thursday or Friday.

Four little pewter pearls add a little bit of charm to the corners of the patterned paper, and I also added some paper piercing below it for more depth.

Finally, I mounted the Fluffles image onto the cardfront with mounting tape.

— BIG NEWS —

You all know about the JustRite stamping system right? Well, this week the Stamper’s Dream Design Team is dedicating one day each to blog about this fabulous product. Amy Westerman started the week off yesterday with two fabulous projects – follow this link to view them. Carolyn King posted her projects today, so check it out here. Charmaine Ikach will be posting tomorrow, I’ll post on Thursday, Laurie Schmidlin will post Friday, and then Tosh Leyendekker will fiinish off the week so be sure to watch our blogs for some fabulous stuff!

OH, and there’s also some blog candy on Michelle’s blog….check it out here if you want a free JustRite stamper!

I arranged the monogram letters onto the JustRite stamper and then stamped them in Aqua Mist and Spring Moss ink onto white cardstock before cutting then out with a square nestabilities. I stamped the circle border in Dark Chocolate ink and then cut it out with a scalloped circle nestabilities die.

I used mounting tape to add some dimension to the monogram letters and then after adhering the scallop circle to a green circle panel, I secured it to the top of the jar with Scor-Tape. It’s the best thing when you need something to stick – it’s even better then Red Liner tape!

I added a tag to the jar using a nestabilities die and some belle fiber. For a final touch, I added some brown satin ribbon to the ring – also securing it with Scor-Tape.

When I sat down to create this project, I remembered the lovely project that Julie had whipped up a couple weeks ago, so I used that as my starting point in this design.

The Chipboard is covered with the Spring paper from Memory Box. Unfortunately the paper is only 6″ long – not long enough to cover the entire front. Then, as Julie sez it, “I have a flash of brilliance!” I grabbed the Paper Frills from my stash, and with the addition of a thin strip of white cardstock, I have the perfect cover up!

The note paper was photocopied onto white cardstock and the red line was added with a marker. The flowers are from the Flower Icons set by Hero Arts, and I stamped them in So Saffron and Taken With Teal ink before punching them out with a 3/4″ square punch.

The word “Notes” was hand written on white cardstock, trimmed and then distressed before adhering it to the note paper. Two little silver brads add the perfect balance.

The design was a little empty in the upper portion so I decided to add the third flower that I had stamped with Cameo Coral ink. Just a cut of mounting tape to adhere it, and I was ready to bind with the Bind-it-all.

I started this post this morning but didn’t get it finished in time to post before I had to leave for church. Then I found out that the sale started yesterday. (insert rolling eyeballs)

Anyway, Stampers Dream has a sale going on with all of the Hero Arts images. Just use the coupon code MYHERO to take 20% off – even the sale price.

The card above uses the Home Sparkle stamp set along with some Memory Box patterned paper. I also used my new Kiwi Kiss cardstock and ink (to color the butterfly) that I got from my demo (my Momma). To finish it off, I added a little bling with purple gemstones.

Isn’t a 98th birthday exciting?! We have a friend with her 98th coming up next month so I decide to use some of my new products from JustRite to make her a card.

I mounted the numbers and the letters onto the wood block and inked them with Dark Chocolate ink (PTI). Then I placed the border on it and inked that with a small rust colored chalk ink pad (ColorBox).

After stamping the images I cut it out and embossed it with a circle nestabilitie die and layered it onto a piece of red cardstock that I cut using my scallop nestabilitie die. I also added a white flower (SU) using a brass brad (SU).

The white cardfront mesures 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″, and I adhered the olive cardstock over it after I stamped it with a polka dot image and Old Olive (SU) ink. The Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon (SU) was knotted and then secured behind the olive cardstock. I finished it up by adhering the main image to the card with dimensionals.

Isn’t this cute! I just love how it turned out! I’m having so much fun with my Bind-it-all and combining it with the JustRite stamper is twice the fun! Most of the products used on this project are from Stampers Dream.

The journal was made from the Small Book Basics chipboard by Stampin’ Up! and I adhered the Kraft and Dark Brown cardstock to it using Modge Podge.

The Swish Border and Vivaldi Flourish images in the upper left corner were stamped using Brilliance White ink. I did a little masking to keep them from overlapping too much.

The pink paper is from the Cupcake Paper Frills collection that I adhered over the dark brown cardstock.

I stamped the monogram using the JustRite stamper and Chestnut Chalk ink onto white cardstock. Then I cut it out and embossed it with a rectangle nestabilities die, before mounting it to the journal with Mounting Tape.

To finish the project, I added several pearl accents.
