Hello

I started this post this morning but didn’t get it finished in time to post before I had to leave for church. Then I found out that the sale started yesterday. (insert rolling eyeballs)

Anyway, Stampers Dream has a sale going on with all of the Hero Arts images. Just use the coupon code MYHERO to take 20% off – even the sale price.

The card above uses the Home Sparkle stamp set along with some Memory Box patterned paper. I also used my new Kiwi Kiss cardstock and ink (to color the butterfly) that I got from my demo (my Momma). To finish it off, I added a little bling with purple gemstones.

98th birthday!

Isn’t a 98th birthday exciting?! We have a friend with her 98th coming up next month so I decide to use some of my new products from JustRite to make her a card.

I mounted the numbers and the letters onto the wood block and inked them with Dark Chocolate ink (PTI). Then I placed the border on it and inked that with a small rust colored chalk ink pad (ColorBox).

After stamping the images I cut it out and embossed it with a circle nestabilitie die and layered it onto a piece of red cardstock that I cut using my scallop nestabilitie die. I also added a white flower (SU) using a brass brad (SU).

The white cardfront mesures 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″, and I adhered the olive cardstock over it after I stamped it with a polka dot image and Old Olive (SU) ink. The Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon (SU) was knotted and then secured behind the olive cardstock. I finished it up by adhering the main image to the card with dimensionals.

Monogram Journal

Isn’t this cute! I just love how it turned out! I’m having so much fun with my Bind-it-all and combining it with the JustRite stamper is twice the fun! Most of the products used on this project are from Stampers Dream.

The journal was made from the Small Book Basics chipboard by Stampin’ Up! and I adhered the Kraft and Dark Brown cardstock to it using Modge Podge.

The Swish Border and Vivaldi Flourish images in the upper left corner were stamped using Brilliance White ink. I did a little masking to keep them from overlapping too much.

The pink paper is from the Cupcake Paper Frills collection that I adhered over the dark brown cardstock.

I stamped the monogram using the JustRite stamper and Chestnut Chalk ink onto white cardstock. Then I cut it out and embossed it with a rectangle nestabilities die, before mounting it to the journal with Mounting Tape.

To finish the project, I added several pearl accents.

New toy!

I just got the Just Rite stamper from Stamper’s Dream and it’s fabulous! I used it to make a whole set of these quick and simple cards as a gift for my Grandma.

The border and “S” were stamped with the Just Rite stamper onto the white cardfront, and I added the bit of green around it with my Aqua Painter and Certainly Celery ink pad. For a little extra detail, I added some Diamond Stickles on the border.

Fresh and Simple

Aren’t these colors lovely!? The pinkish-orange flower pops out against the muted green, blue and brown background.

The main flower image is from the Hero Arts “Hand Drawn Flowers” stamp set available from Stamper’s Dream. I stamped it onto the white cardstock using Palette’s Noir Black ink and colored it in with koh-i-noor pencils & OMS.

The Memory Box “Vivaldi Flourish” was stamped onto the olive cardfront using VersaMark ink. I added a strip of Dark Brown cardstock to the right side of the card with a bit of blue ribbon wrapped around it, and then mounted the white cardstock with Mounting Tape.

You’re Invited

I was going to upload this yesterday but I forgot to. Oops!

These lovely images are from Stamper’s Dream – the new Memory Box stamps.

The bird branch image was stamped onto vanilla cardsdtock with Chocolate Chip, Olympia Green, and Aqua Mist ink. I then cut out the leaves, and bird to mount them onto the branch.

The cardbase (prism cardstock) was stamped using the Vivaldi Flourish and Montrey Flourish stamps with VersaMark ink.

I added three mini silver eyelets to the vanilla cardstock before mounting it to the cardfront with Mounting Tape.

The “You’re Invited” sentiment is from the Rubber Soul Monkey Birthday stamp set.

This card uses the Baby Shower stamp set – isn’t that bib the cutest thing? I stamped it onto vanilla cardstock with Noir Black Palette ink and colored it with koh-i-noor pencils and OMS.

The word “Baby” was stamped onto the Vintage Violet cardstock first with Sterling Mist Opalite ink and then with Black StazOn. The Opalite ink under the StazOn creates a bit of a shimmer around the edges.

I finished the card by adding three little gemstones.
