The Gina K. Design Team is having a blog hop tonight featuring techniques shown on StampTV. I chose to use the “Coloring with colored pencils and OMS” technique with the Aloha stamp set by Theresa Momber.

The images were stamped onto Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored with Koh-i-noor pencils and OMS. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of PL Ivory cardstock, layered onto a piece of PL Smokey Slate cardstock and then mounted to the cardfront with dimensionals.

Yesterday (Friday) my family went down to southern Minnesota to visit some relatives and for my sister to play her harp at a nursing home. While we were down there, I got sick (possibly from food) and was not feeling well, making it a miserable afternoon for me. After we arrived home, Momma suggested that I make myself a get well card, so I made this card using the Enjoy the Sunshine StampTV Kit from [Gina K. Designs]. Today I am feeling much better!

This project uses the “Friends are Forever” and “Enjoy the Sunshine” stamp sets from Gina K. Designs.

I stamped the flower image onto Pure Luxury White cardstock using black ink and colored with koh-i-noor pencils and OMS to create the soft colors. I layered the PL White cardstock onto a piece of PL Smoky Slate and after stamping the sentiment onto a piece of PL White cardstock scrap, secured the piece over the main image. A single brad adds visual interest near the sentiment, and the whole image was then mounted to the PL Ocean Mist cardfront, which has 3/16″ trimmed off of the right side of the front panel with a little distressing.

Tonight is the last night of previews before the Gina K. Designs May Release Party, and I have one more stamp set to preview – “Friends are Forever” by Gina K.

The stamp set includes several beautiful floral images along with several sentiment images. I used on of the floral images and the sentiment is from the new StampTV Kit that is being released this month.

The flower image was stamped onto Pure Luxury White cardstock using black ink and then colored with Copic markers: V000, BV00, YR23, YG63, & YG67. I layered the image into a piece of PL Smoky Slate cardstock and after stamping and trimming the sentiment, I adhered it over the flower stems and added two brads. The PL Lovely Lavender cardbase was wrapped with a piece of white ribbon and the main image was mounted over it with dimensionals.

I CASED the layout for this layout from [a card I designed] for a previous release party. The daisy image was stamped with black ink onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers: YR31, YR23, YG63, YG67, E50, E53, C-1. I sewed along the left edge of the white cardstock and adhered it to a piece of black cardstock. The green cardfront was stamped with one of the bold images from the kit and then I adhered to main image to the front. the sentiment was stamped on white cardstock, distressed, and mounted with dimensionals.

This was a fun stamp set to use. Tami Mayberry has several adorable star images and I used two of them on this card, stamped in blue and green ink on the white cardstock. I layered the stamped cardstock onto another piece of white cardstock after distressing it and then adhered it to the new Sweet Mango cardstock.

The sentiment from Elegant Flowers was stamped onto PL Slate cardstock and I set an eyelet in the right side before mounting to the card with dimensionals.

This month we have a new StampTV Kit being released which includes two new stamp sets “Holiday Mix” and “Holiday Greetings”. Beautiful images in both sets and as you can see below they coordinate perfectly!

The card above uses the new Cranberry Tart cardstock available in the Holiday Assortment pack. I stamped the bird image and the sentiment on the 4.25″ x 4.25″ cardfront using VersaMagic white ink. I also added a red button (also from the Holiday Assortment pack) and some silver cord.

I made a coordinating gift box to hold several cards and stamped it with images from the Holiday Mix stamp set – the circular sentiment is included in the Holiday Greetings stamp set as well as the Sweet Corn cardstock and green ribbon.
