Copic Trick

Here’s a cool trick you could try with Copics: Colored Zippers.

colored_zipper

Momma was making a skirt this week with a hidden zipper, but she couldn’t find a hidden zipper that was the same color blue as the skirt fabric. So I used a Copic marker to color her cream colored zipper blue.

I’m not sure how well the coloring job will hold up to wear and tear, but I did heat set the colored zipper and I’ll update if the alteration fails.

  5. Awesome! Even if it did fade or washout a bit you have the marker to redo it! Another good reason for me to try out the Copics!
