Mr. & Mrs.

mrmrs.jpg

I had this card sitting half completed on my table for about a month as I couldn’t figure out what to do with it.

The patterned paper is cut off a cardfront that I recieved for graduation, wrapped with white organdy ribbon and silver cord, and layered onto a white piece of cardstock that has a scalloped edge. There is a mini silver eyelet in each scallop.

I couldn’t decide what to use as a focal point so the card just sat around until I got my preties set from Stampin’ Up. Then I dyed the flower, added a half pearl and glued it to a chipboard heart that I stamped with blue flourishes.

Then I punched out an oval with my Giga scallop punch, stamped the border with Gina K.’s borders for the punches, stamped the sentiment and attached the heart.

I finished the card by adding a pin with a few beads to the ribbon.

  1. For not knowing where this was going it came out awesome… I have cards like that… They sit and sit half done until they take on a life… Sometimes it is better to walk away and think it over…
