It’s my B-day! WOW! Two decades seems like a long time to be around! But I’ve had fun, and am thankful for my parents watchful eye and painstaking guidance in raising me. Thank you Momma and Poppa! 
Today is also the first day in our preview for the upcoming release from Gina K. Designs. Check out this image from the new stamp set “Framed Friends” designed by Asela Hopkins.
The owl was stamped onto Pure Luxury White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and I colored the background and branch with Copic markers: YG91, E43, E37, 0, G00, BG01, BG23, and B00. I then stamped the image again, and colored the owl with Copic markers: E29, E37, E43, E57, E77, C-3, and 0. After coloring the owl, I cut him out and adhered him onto the first image I stamped. This just made him pop out a little from the background.
The “You’re My Friend” sentiment was stamped onto the teal cardstock with VersaMark and embossed with copper EP. The button from the Archaic BG line was threaded with ribbon also from the Archaic BG line and secrured the the cardfront with a glue-dot.
I finished the design by sewing around the teal cardstock with black thread and mounting it to a piece of 120lb. Pure Luxury cardstock.
