Dreams Take Flight!

craft-sale-05

This project was made for Koleesa to sell at the craft fair in December. I used Composition notebooks covered with patterned paper and also made coordinating pens. The bird image is from Penny Black and the sentiment and scroll images are from Gina K. Designs.

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Take Flight (GKD), Penny Black image
  • Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento (GKD), Cranberry Crisp (SU!)
  • Paper: Pure Luxury White (GKD), Patterned Paper (SU!)
  • Accessories: Composition Notebooks, RSVP pens
Striped Wishes

I’ll try to keep this post short…

I was playing with my new SU! stamps earlier this week and came up with this quick design. I used the striped background image colored with markers to create the fun background and added a chcolate panel to the bottom of the card that had holes punched in the top.

The sentiment was stamped in brown ink on white and then mounted with dimensionals onto the cardfront. I finished the card with a little bit of organdy ribbon.

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Striped Background (SU!), Upsy Daisy (SU!)
  • Ink: Rich Cocoa Memento (GKD), Kiwi Kiss (SU!), Old Olive (SU!), Always Artichoke (SU!), Sahara Sand (SU!), Chocolate Chip (SU!)
  • Paper: Pure Luxury White (GKD), Expresso
  • Accessories: Spiral Punch (SU!), Dimensionals (SU!), Organdy Ribbon, Disstressing tool
My Notebook

A $1 notebook and 5 minutes of stamping = quick and easy gift. Or in this case, a notebook for myself. :)

I slapped this project together last night after I got home from Micheals. I found this notebook while rummaging through the dollar bins and I figured that it was so nice that I would have been loosing money if I didn’t buy it. LOL!

I used one of the border stamps in the Gina K. Designs “Festive Labels” stamp set to stamp the circle and then I used part of a sentiment from “Hearfelt Hits 1″ to stamp the words “This one’s for:”

I added my name with a black marker, and then added a bit of black ribbon secured with linen thread. The frame was then cut out and mounted to the notebook with mounting tape.

I also made a coordinating pen. You can’t see the pattern well, but it’s black and white striped paper from a Black Market paper pack.
