A New Direction

I have some exciting news to share today, as well as some news on a little sadder note. This past August I had the opportunity to apply for the Creative Media Track internship with Vision Forum Ministries, in San Antonio, TX, and have had the privilege of being accepted! Recently I have desired to pursue a career in web and graphic design, and this internship will give me a wonderful opportunity to serve the ministry with the talents God has given me.

The sad news is that I will not have much time to stamp while I live in Texas, so this will be my last month participating on the talented Gina K. Design Team. The team has been absolutely fabulous and I wish them the very best!

I leave for Texas at the end of the month and will be there for six months during the internship. After that I will to return to Minnesota and see what the Lord has planned for me.

Boscobel Encampment

My brother, sister, and I were at the Muskets and Memories Civil War Reenactment in Bocobel, WI, where we had a wonderful time participating in the living history encampment and reenactment. Kevin and I participated in the battle with the 1st South Carolina Volunteer Infantry Company H and my sister assisted the field doctors as a nurse during the battle.

My brother, sister, and I dressed in our reenactment clothing. My sister made all of the clothing that we are wearing.

This was my first encampment, and my brother’s second. We were drilled in the Manual of Arms before we fell in with the rest of the company.

This last photo is of the 1st SC Vol. Inf. Co. H, which is the company that we joined.
