Tonight I get to preview two beautiful new stamp sets: “Hugs and Prayers” by Nina Brackett, and “Seeds of Kindness” by Gina K. Both of these sets are filled with floral images (Nina’s has humming birds and butterflies too) as well as several sentiments.

For the card above, I stamped the bold Poppy image in VersaMark onto the Pure Luxury Cranberry Crisp cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder. The cardbase is PL Soft Sand with a scallop edge created with the Tulip Boderabilities and a length of belle fiber compliments the waves of the scallops and flower petals.
The sentiment was stamped onto PL White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, layered onto vellum, secured with two silver brads and then mounted to the cardfront with dimensionals.

This next project, I tried to create an asian/modern style with the colors and sentiment arrangement. The main flower image was stamped onto PL White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Copic Markers. BG93, BG96, BV23, BV29, and V12 for the leaves. RV02, RV04, RV06, Y06, and Y08 for the flowers. Y21, Y28, C-1, C-3, and C-5 for the pot and shadow.
The two parallel lines were created with the solid line image from the new In Stitches stamp set and the sentiment was stamped on the top line. I layered the main image over a piece of PL Sm0key Slate cardstock and then mounted the image to my PL Soft Sand cardfront.
