Serene Trees

Thinking of you

I used the tree image from Theresa Momber’s new stamp set “Gone Fishing” and stamped it in Olive Vivid ink onto Pure Luxury Green Apple cardstock. The sentiment is from Gina K.’s new Masculine Messages stamp set and was stamped in VersaMark over the trees and then embossed with white embossing powder.

The PL White cardbase was wrapped with a piece of gold striped white ribbon and then the main image was mounted to the cardfront with dimensionals. I pierced one of Gina K.’s sateen flowers and secured a gold brad in the center. The flower was then mounted to the card with a glue dot.

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Masculine Messages (GKD), Gone Fishing (GKD)
  • Ink: Olive Vivid (GKD), VersaMark (GKD)
  • Paper: PL White (GKD), PL Green Apple (GKD)
  • Accessories: Gold Edged Ribbon (GKD), White Flower (GKD), Gold Brad (GKD), White Embossing Powder, Dimensionals, Paper Piercer

I used the Pure Luxury Ocean Mist and PL Lemon Drop cardstock for my card. The flowers from the Spring Florals stamp set were stamped with White ink onto the PL Ocean Mist cardfront and the PL Lemon Drop cardstock was adhered to the bottom.

I added a strip of PL Green Apple cardstock to the PL Lemon Drop cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Three silver rhinestones were added to either side of the sentiment for a bit of bling.

Delightful

I received my stamps from the Gina K. Designs January release in the mail the other day and decided to play around with them. Below is what I came up with using the Purrr-fectly Delightful stamp set by Theresa Momber.

delightful_flowers

I used the same layout for these two cards, but swapped the colors – the card on the left uses Pure Luxury Chocolate Kiss cardstock and patterned paper from one of the Gina K. Designs digi kits. The other card uses PL In the Navy and PL Mother of Pearl metallic cardstock.

The flower image was stamped with white ink onto the dark cardstock and then a scallop border was cut on the right side of the cardfront to reveal a coordinating color beneath. The butterfly image was stamped above the flowers using white ink and a few dots of Stickles were added for some shimmer.

The sentiment was stamped onto PL White cardstock using Rich Cocoa and Tuxedo Black – the butterfly was then stamped next to the sentiment with a coordinating color. The sentiment was then mounted to the cardfront using dimensionals.

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Purrr-fectly Delightful (GKD)
  • Ink: Rich Cocoa Memento (GKD), Tuxedo Black Memento (GKD), VersaMagic White
  • Paper: PL Chocolate Kiss (GKD), PL In the Navy (GKD), PL Mother of Pearl (GKD), PL White (GKD)
  • Accessories: Frosted Lace Stickles (GKD), Digi Paper (GKD), Scallop Scissors, Diminsionals
A Note of Thanks

This is another card that I designed for the card class.

The flower from “Bella’s Bloom” was stamped on PL Ivory cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento ink. The cardbase is PL Soft Sand and the layered cardstocks are Soft Sky and Cranberry with a scallop border cut from PL Ivory cardstock.

The edges of the Cranberry cardstock was destressed and a brown marker was used to add dots to the scallop border. The sentiment is from the “Thank You Kindly” stamp set, stamped in Rich Cocoa ink and the main image was mounted with dimensionals.

Supplies:

  • Stamp: Bella’s Bloom (SU!), Thank You Kindly (SU!)
  • Ink: Rich Cocoa Memento (GKD)
  • Paper: PL Soft Sand (GKD), PL Ivory (GKD), Soft Sky (SU!), Cranberry
  • Accessories: Scallop Scissors, Brown Marker, Distresser, Dimensionals
Special Delivery Blog Hop

It’s time for another Gina K. Designs Blog Hop! Today we have the Special Delivery and Special Delivery Add-on stamp sets from Tami Mayberry.

special_birthday

I only used two images on this card – one from each stamp set, but I was CASEing a card that I’ll post later this week using Melanie Muenchinger’s Year of Leaves stamp set. The gift image was stamped onto Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and colored with Copic markers: YR16, B00, E51 & W-1.

The cardbase is PL Soft Sand cardstock and the scallop border is punched from PL Chocolate Kiss cardstock. I stamped the line image onto Green Apple cardstock using white ink and then mounted the main image to the cardfront using dimensionals.

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Special Deliver (GKD), Special Delivery Add-on (GKD)
  • Ink: Rich Cocoa Memento (GKD), White
  • Paper: PL Soft Sand (GKD), PL Ivory (GKD), PL Green Apple (GKD), PL Chocolate Kiss (GKD)
