Preview Day 3

Today, I’m previewing the “Notes to Mom” stamp set. It is the “one free with three” stamp set this month and has several lovely sentiments in it.

The flower is from the “Friendship’s Garden” that I previewed yesterday and I stamped that on Pure Luxury white cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it in with Copic markers: RV21, RV23, RV27, YG91, YG96.

I matted the white cardstock with Gina K.’s Pure Luxury Black Onyx and mounted it to a Spring Moss cardfront with dimensionals.

The sentiment from “Notes to Mom” was then stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Kitchen Sink stamps

I got to play with a set of Kitchen Sink stamps the other day. T. Joy on Splitcoast sent me the 3 Step Heart set and I used it to stamp this card for a the couple at a wedding that my sister is playing her harp at.

The hearts were stamped with several of Ranger’s Distress inks using the 3 Step stamp method and then trimmed out. I punched out a little white flower and secured it to the small heart with a brad. The small heart was then mounted to the large heart with dimensionals.

I cut two squares out of Pure Luxury white cardstock, distressed the smaller one and after adhering them together, I stitched a border around the edge. The sentiment was stamped in Memento’s Rich Cocoa ink and then I wrapped some pink organdy ribbon around the white panels.

The hearts where adhered to the white panels and then the white panels were adhered to a Kraft cardbase measuring 5.5″ x 5.5″.

Sneak Peak Day #3

This next preview is a set called “Hand in Hand” designed by Melanie Muenchinger. This set has images for many occasions – and the concept is really unique!

Remember that tomorrow the release party starts at 7:00 PM CST in the Gina K. Designs forums on Splitcoaststampers. There is also one more set being previewed tomorrow so don’t forget to stop by again in the morning.

The lovely hand image was stamped with black ink onto Pure Luxery cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. I used E71, E77, & E49 for the suit, E50, E53, G000, & G00 for the sleeve, and E00, E11, & E31 for the guys hand. The gals hand was colored with E00 & E11, and then I added the sheer sleeve with a black marker and colored it with G000 & 0. To add a bit of dimension, I colored around the hands with W-1 and bleneded it with the colorless blender.

I cut out the hand image with an oval nestabilities die and mounted it on another oval with dimensionals. I ran the cardbase through the cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder and then ran it through again to smoosh it flat. The result was little rings on the back side of the paper, so I used that as my background on the front of the card.

I adhered the main image to the cardfront, added a bit of Pure Luxury ribbon, stamped the sentiment (also from the set), and added a little bling to finish the card.
